  • Difference between managers and leaders.
  • The 5 levels of decision making: 1.Delegation, 2.Consensus, 3.Dialogue, 4.Input, 5.Directive. When to use these styles and what style of decision making the delegate usually adopts.
  • Using exercises and working in groups. The programme examines ways of improving management techniques.
  • How to manage conflict and reduce the risk of bullying or harassment.
  • Effective methods of communication within teams.
  • Communicating management or difficult decisions.
  • How to build and maintain successful teams while examining team dynamics and keeping a team motivated. Delegates are asked to think about the teams they lead and we discuss ways of improving the dynamics.
