Mike Krause

Biography:

Michael S. “Mike” Krause is a broad-based general management and supply-chain executive.  He has three years Executive Coaching experience and over thirty years as a manufacturing and general management executive.  

Mike’s responsibilities included assignments as Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for US and International operations for industry leaders in the consumer products, feminine products, foods, toys, chemicals and construction industries.  He has earned a reputation for innovation, performance improvement, and building competitive advantage through exceptional team-building skills coupled with a strategic focus on business objectives.  

As the manufacturing leader, Mike led restructuring assignments for major manufacturing organizations in the US and Europe, coordinated divestitures and the integration of acquisitions of manufacturing organizations and led the change process during expansion, restructuring and outsourcing.  Success has relied on the ability to build teamwork among diverse functions and groups through hands-on leadership and attention to details.  Ethics and performance are keystones of his management and leadership style.  

In addition to line assignments, Mike has managed the Technology practice for an established executive recruiting firm with a focus on the defense industry. Using his broad based experience in industry, Mike began providing executive coaching and mentoring services to clients in 2007.  As Managing Director of Fisher-Price Europe, he led the integration of six country focused business units into a cohesive flexible organization capable of competing in the Single European Market.  

Mike is a graduate of the US Naval Academy with a BS in Engineering.  He earned a MBA in Finance & International Business from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
