Biography:
Eva Hirsch Pontes is a licensed psychologist and holds a graduate certificate in Marketing. She earned her Coach certification through the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, California, and holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coach Federation – ICF.
Eva started her career in the export department of Glaxo in England, and subsequently worked for 26 years as an executive for Grupo Lachmann, a medium-size family-owned group of Brazilian shipowning and logistics companies, holding several key positions including director and board member. She subsequently worked for 10 years as Institutional Development Officer at the COPPEAD Graduate School of Business of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, an EQUIS accredited business school and one of the top 100 in the Financial Times full-time MBA 2009 world rankings. Her main responsibilities included Marketing and Fundraising activities, as well as coordination of the Personal & Career Development Program for the full-time MBA students.
She is an invited lecturer at COPPEAD for several open and in-company executive education programs, as well as for the “Global Partners MBA Program”, held jointly by The Robinson School of Business/Georgia State University, COPPEAD and the IAE/Sorbonne. She also works as trainer for global corporations, delivering leadership development programs in Brazil and abroad.
