Biography:
Deborah Huisken has worked for over twenty years leading and helping others lead entrepreneurial companies in the business-to-business, consumer, and professional services sectors. In the late ‘90s she started using that experience to coach business and organizational clients from around the world, both individuals and teams. She is an innovative leadership development facilitator with a passion for working internationally. Her emphasis is on experiential learning to help leaders develop greater self-understanding and therefore clarity about where they can have the greatest impact.
Hers has been a multi-faceted career of cross-industry experience, including IT Marketing with international corporate clients; and internal and external sales,. Deborah is known for generating innovative ideas for leveraging growth and transformation in individuals and organizations.
Her passion is working with leaders committed to making a difference in their communities. She founded her company, Dancing Star International, to help individuals and organizations realize their full potential – to more fully recognize and embrace their talents, abilities, and differences in order to create innovative, effective, and fulfilled leaders and teams.
The majority of Deborah’s coaching clients have been self-paying individuals native to countries around the globe including Canada, UK, Japan, Sweden, Trinidad, Israel, Korea, and the US, and have held mid- to senior-level roles in consumer, business-to-business, state university, healthcare, science, and artsorganizations such as Apple Computer, General Dynamics, Hewlett Packard, London School of Economics, SunTory, Philips, Pfizer, and the United States Federal Government. Consulting clients have been in both business-to-business and commercial roles.
While Deborah has facility in both French and Spanish, she does not coach in either.
