Biography:
Carlos A. Diz is Brazilian and British, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and raised in Europe. He holds a BSc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Dundee, Scotland and a MBA from Insead, Fontainebleau, as well as an international coach certification from Lambent International. He/she is a member of ICC (International Coaching Community), ICF International Coach Federation, and founder member of ABC-Associao Brasileira de Coaches (Brazilian Coaches Association) in process of foundation.
Besides his native Portuguese and English, is fluent in Italian, Spanish and French, speaks good Dutch and communicates in German.
Carlos developed a successful twenty years career in senior executive positions with Citibank, Pepsico, RJ Reynolds, Philips International, Thomson Consumer Electronics, in several countries over three continents working in finance, marketing and general management.
In 2003, foreseeing that corporations will increasingly turn to the quality of their leaders as the main source of competitive advantage, created the Instituto de Liderana Executiva (Executive Leadership Institute) in Rio de Janeiro, dedicated to the enhancement of leaders’ behavioral competences by means of original feed-back intensive experiential programs especially developed and formatted for the Brazilian cultural environment, using executive coaching as the main tool for supporting and accelerating the change process.
With a log of nearly 7000 hours coaching executives in large corporations in Brazil, this coach is currently one of the top executive coaches in the country.
