Bill McAneny

Biography:

Bill McAneny has developed an international reputation as a pioneer and innovator in talent management, organisational development and executive coaching.

Bill is the author of the highly-regarded book, ‘Frankenstein’s Manager’. This best-selling work explores the complexities of leadership and shows that only by dealing with people as individuals can meaningful improvement occur. Bill has worked with a range of organisations, management teams and business leaders to deliver lasting change through the humanised application of fresh business methodologies.

Bill formerly lectured in psychology and organisational development at the Swedish Institute of Management. As an entrepreneur, he then established his own business which involved working at board level around the world with, among others, a petrochem multinational in Houston and a hand tools manufacturer in Scandanavia. This involved working with individual leaders and their boards to develop new strategies, new ways of thinking and new ways of developing and optimising the psychological capital of their organisations.

He has innovated the coaching market place through the development of new tools to establish a more systematic approach to identifying baselines, objectives, progress and returns. He has coached at board level in the public and private sectors and specialises in career transition and pragmatic leadership. Bill’s style of jargon-free, personalised, highly-informed executive coaching has proven to be a great success with his clients.
