Innovation...whether it’s on the periphery of what your organisation does or at the backend it certainly is an important topic that everyone seems to be talking about.

On the 9th May 2011, blackswan hosted the Innovate to Success conference at the Cumberland Hotel, London. Attended by over 170 delegates, the conference explored how the world’s biggest businesses successfully harness innovation for business success.

During the event both the speakers and the delegates were interviewed about their thoughts and challenges relating to innovation in the global marketplace. They gave some really interesting and diverse views on the way innovation is viewed across different business sectors and industries.

The speakers included:

Craig Wynett, Vice President and Chief Learning Officer at P&G

William B. Bonvillian, Director at MIT

Liz Mellon, Executive Director at Duke Corporate Education

Darrell Mann, Chief Technology Officer at blackswan

Maurice Duffy, Chief Executive Officer at blackswan

Hugo Bagué, Group Executive - People and Organisation at Rio Tinto

Alastair Campbell, former spokesman for Tony Blair, chairperson for the conference
