Julie Darling - Sales Manager

Born in Newcastle but brought up in a little village in South Wales, she returned to the North East in 1999 to go Northumbria University to study Politics and French. During this time, she spent a year working in Brussels for the North of England Office. She represented the legal and funding needs of the North East in Europe and her time was spent gaining meaningful partner searches within Europe to gain funding for local initiatives. She was lucky enough to be part of the Capital of Culture bid.

She has 10 years sales experience, 7 of those being in management. Her passion for all things sales- related came from working within the Telecommunication industry during her time at university and in her final year of university joined the retail management team. She then moved to Orange as a high performing Direct Sales manager and enjoyed a very successful 3 and half years there before joining blackswan in January 2010.
